Notice — dated August 22, 2026

This page was written directly by the team building RADAR, in plain language, to describe what the product actually does. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and must be before any money changes hands or this page is relied on for legal compliance. If you have concerns about your data, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.

RADAR (radarposition.com) is a professional positioning platform. It includes RoleVelocity, a free job-search tracker (dashboard plus a browser extension), which is currently the only part of the product available to use. This policy covers the RADAR website, the RoleVelocity dashboard, and the RoleVelocity Chrome extension.

01

Information we collect

Account & sign-in.When you sign in, we use Supabase (our authentication and database provider) to handle it. You can sign in with a one-time "magic link" sent to your email address, or by continuing with LinkedIn, which shares your name, email address, and LinkedIn profile identifier with us via LinkedIn's standard sign-in flow (OIDC) — we do not receive your full LinkedIn profile or connections list this way.

Waitlist signups. If you join the early-access list from the homepage, we store the email address you enter and a short tag noting which part of the site you signed up from, so we can email you about early access.

Tracker & extension data. If you use the RoleVelocity dashboard or Chrome extension, we store what you actively capture:

  • Job postings — title, company, the page URL, the status you give it (e.g. applied, interviewing), and any notes you add.
  • People — name, title, company, LinkedIn URL, and any notes you add.
  • Organizations — name and any notes you add.

The extension only reads page content on the sites listed in its permissions (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and Workday job pages) and only captures something when you deliberately trigger it — a right-click capture or an action in the side panel. It does not run in the background collecting your general browsing.

Product analytics. We use PostHog to understand how the product is used and to catch errors. Analytics requests are routed through our own domain (radarposition.com/ingest) rather than going straight to PostHog's servers from your browser. This captures anonymous usage events (pages viewed, buttons clicked, errors encountered) and, if you're signed in, associates some events with your account so we can debug issues you report.

02

How we use it

To run the product: sign you in, show you the jobs, people, and organizations you've captured, sync your extension data to your dashboard, and let you know when early access opens. To improve it: understand which parts of the product get used and where things break, using the analytics described above. We do not use your tracker data (job postings, people, organizations) for anything other than showing it back to you.

03

Who we share data with

We use a small number of service providers to run RADAR, and we don't sell your data to anyone:

  • Supabase — hosts our database and handles authentication. Your account and tracker data live here.
  • PostHog — processes the product analytics described above.
  • LinkedIn— if you choose "Continue with LinkedIn" to sign in, LinkedIn processes that sign-in per its own privacy policy.
  • Stripe — if you purchase the 1:1 Coaching offer, payment is handled entirely by Stripe through a Stripe Payment Link. We do not receive or store your card details; see Stripe's privacy policy.

We do not currently share the job, people, or organization data you capture with any third-party enrichment or data-broker service — LinkedIn profile enrichment is a planned paid feature that is not active yet. This page will be updated before that changes.

04

How your data is protected

Your tracker data (jobs, people, organizations) is stored in our Supabase Postgres database with row-level security enabled, meaning the database itself enforces that your account can only read and write its own rows — not just the application code. Connections to our services use HTTPS/TLS in transit.

RADAR is operated out of Missouri, United States, and your data is handled from there.

05

Data retention & deletion

We keep your account and tracker data for as long as your account is active. If you want your account or data deleted, contact us at the address below and we'll remove it. If you've only joined the waitlist, contact us to be removed from it at any time.

06

Children

RADAR is intended for working professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

07

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a material way, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Since RADAR does not yet email a broad user base, we don't promise a separate change notification beyond that today.
